Love vs Reality

I just found a really nice quote from  a romance novel (that some people may think don't have any literature value but hey....novel it's very entertaining, and that is what some people looking for when they read a book -sorry, a lil bit get carried away-)

"Love can conquer everything but reality. Which will win every stinking time." (JR Ward, Lover Unleashed)

One thing crossed my mind when I read it: That you can't chose the one you fall in love with...and usually that is where the reality come in and slapped you in the face. You never chose to love someone with the same gender, for example, or have different religion, or it might be you husband's best friend.

When love faced with reality you can only do one of two things: fight it or leave it alone. Reality is not always win but yes, it has a better chance of winning as it is out nature to avoid difficulty, but hey....doesn't it spiced out our life? It is more easy to leave when things got rough but ain't something that we got from fighting is always feel sweeter?

I also always believe that if there is a will then there is a way, but once again, it is sound better and easier in words than in action. So love and reality is always on battle, but as long as you really sure that this love is worth fighting for, then why give it up to reality? Reality bites but love might soothing the wound and make it better :)
